HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR CRYSTALS?
You can choose your crystal intuitively or by its shape, size, quality, colour, healing qualities or where you plan to place it. A crystal for raising the energy vibrations of a space should be larger in size or more in numbers to amplify their effect. However, a high vibrational crystal, such as Apophyllite for example, doesn't need to be large in order to have a strong effect. A basic rule however is that the larger the crystal, the more amplified its healing energy is.
A good way to approach choosing your crystal is to let your eye and mind wander over them, whether you're browsing online or in a shop. The ones that stand out to you more than others, are often the ones whose healing qualities you need in that moment. This is your intuition guiding you. You can even ask your intuition to guide you to the crystals you most need the help of, then close your eyes for a moment to focus before choosing the crystals. If you have a particular issue or theme you wish to work on, or heal, you can choose crystals that will help you with that in particular.
HOW TO CHOOSE CRYSTALS FOR OTHERS?
A crystal is a meaningful, thoughtful gift to give, or a memorable way to mark a special occasion. When choosing a crystal for someone else, you can let your intuition guide you, by asking it to do so, or you can choose by the healing qualities of the crystal that you wish for the recipient of it to enjoy.
You can also think of how the person is most likely to use the crystal, will they use it on the desk? Choose something that can be larger in size, maybe a natural cluster or polished statue. You can also pay attention to the colours the recipient of the crystal likes and work within those colours. Will they want to meditate and work with the energies of the crystal? Choose a polished shape, a point or a wand. Will they want to wear the crystal as a piece of jewellery? Then think of the type of existing pieces they have - are they statement jewellery types of people or more minimal and discreet, what is their sense of style and what colours do they prefer to wear, then choose accordingly.
